    Marine Field Surveyors are responsible for a broad range of tasks related to the safety and compliance of maritime operations. Their primary duties include:

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting inspections and surveys of ships and marine structures to ensure they meet regulatory and safety standards.
    • Verifying ship and documentations to comply with national and international laws and regulations.
    • Ensuring that vessels are constructed and maintained in accordance with the standards of classification societies and maritime regulations.
    • Carrying out audits and preparing detailed reports that outline the findings and recommendations derived from surveys.
    • Testing materials and equipment to ensure that they are operational and that they meet safety standards.
    • Advising shipowners, operators, and manufacturing firms on compliance with maritime laws and standards.

    Requirements:

    • A relevant university degree from institution as a naval architect, mechanical engineer or an engineer related to the maritime fields or master mariner and worked in that capacity for at least five years.
    • Their Surveying Experience must have relevant experience for at least three to five years on ships of more than 24 meters in length and must have successfully completed ISM/ISPS/MLC training course
